There is a lot of free image hosting websites out there now. Most of the free adult image hosting websites have millions of page views. I think the most popular one is fapomatic.com. They display banner ads from adultfriendfinder.com and adbrite($30 a month) everytime someone view the images. Does anyone here have any experiece with Image hosting? What kind of bandwidth does a website like fapomatic use? Is it worth the time and money to create something like fapomatic? Will the revenue from adbrite and adultfriendfinder be enough to break even every month?
I'll let you know once my image hosting starts up Bandwidth server wise, you can get 1500gigs a month with a mid range cpu/ram for under $150 a month The tricky part comes when you start receiving enough traffic and you need multiple servers, you need to load balance sessions, databases and the stored files. I think there is money in image hosting if you know what you're doing, theres a lot of 'blah' sites out there ...you need to offer something different and I don't mean a different layout header.
