Image Host ~$10/day Adsense revenue

General Information:
I tried selling this before, but didn't quite set out the ending date of the auction, so I've decided to re-list it, with an end of auction date being set at November 12th.

The site is an advanced image host, allowing members to upload multiple images at a time without registration, and once the images are uploaded the users are given linking codes so that they can embed the images/thumbnails into various places (myspace, ebay, forums, websites etc...). I started the site at the beginning of the month, and traffic has been built steadily through myspace bulletins, word of mouth, and also a large internet forum has also taken to using the uploader. Currently, there has been little to no SEO, with the exception of a handful of links posted in some directories.

Revenue:
By running two AdBrite ads on the image viewing page (when users wish to view the fullsize image they are directed to a viewing page containing the ads and the picture), the site has managed to generate $40.XX for the month:


However, after viewing the forums it seemed that most revenue was to be earned from AdSense, and I switched over just the other day. Here are the AdSense earnings from the beginning of the month:



Why I'm Selling:
Well, the main reason I am selling the site is to fund my next project which will also need all of my time dedicated to it if the new venture is to work.

Handover:
I haven't sold a website before, so I'm not totally sure about the best way to do this. I think I will just .zip up the website so it can be unpacked and uploaded with minor modifications (I will include instructions and help you get it all up and running). I will then forward the domain on. So basically you will need your own hosting to run the site (If there is a better way to do this, I am totally open to ideas).

Bandwidth:
The site uses roughly 15-25gb per month

Yes it's the site in my sig - the ads are located on the viewing page (this can be changed so ads can appear on the index page also) which users go to after clicking a thumbnail.

Basically the site was promoted at first with a myspace account and just sending out mass messages. After getting some decent results through this, I switched to posting images on various forums, and hoping to get a few more users. It now seems to be getting majority of it's traffic from a large internet forum.

what happens with the images... how long do you keep them hosted for?

Currently they are hosted indefinetely, but there's the option to delete them after x days if b/width or disk space becomes an issue.

When you say a large forum, what are we talking about? 100,000+ posts? 5,000+ members?
What niche is the forum? computers, teen, general, alcohol... etc?

c) it uses Extreme Photo Host - albeit with some modifications made to make it simpler for the end user and cleaner on the eye. You can write whatever you want in the TOS, that doesn't mean people will abide by it, however the admin section allows you to browse uploaded images and delete illegal content.

100,000+ members, it's not the exclusive uploader or anything, but is used frequently by a lot of the members.

I would like more info as well please - specifically where the traffic is coming from.

I Uploaded a file, and could not see any ads anywhere on the site - I would certainly want to see some example image pages that have the ads as well.

 

where are the google ads on the stie

basically:
1. you go to the site and upload your image
2. then you are given a list of links, one of these is the thumbnail code (used on forums)
3. this is posted on a forum, like below (click it to be taken to the viewer)
