Hello All I know CMS's do not not use xml but I am wanting to use a flash based image gallery such as SimpleViewer (http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/) I do not really want the client to touch the xml file that feeds the gallery but use a CMS. I like the gallery becuase it displays thumbnails, description and a larger image at a click of a thumbnail. Over at Drupal someone has created http://www.endymios.com/flash-gallery-module#why which allows the user to use the CMS's back-end and upload images. This method seems more friendly for novices. The issue I have found with SimpleViewer is that: - there is not a lot of space to put a caption in the Flash animation, so I can't have lots of text to describe each image. - according to the Simpleviewer docs, an album can become slowish when it contains more than 50 images, because they all have to be loaded into the animation. Is there something else out there for me? I also like http://smoothgallery.jondesign.net/ but it has no real CMS integration. I am just after a good solution as the client wants to update different aspects of their site with an easy to use CMS. Thanks,
i think you must try joomla (and zoom media gallery component which is a gpl joomla gallery component) . you can find both of them on official joomla site
