So, if you want to run an affiliate marketing website, and promote products there, are you allowed to use images of those exact products on your website?
For example, you promote kitchen towels (first thing that came to my mind), and you find online really nice products, are you allowed to post their images?
Does this comes automatically when you start with the affiliate program?
What if you would just want to review and promote products without affiliate program, do you have the right to post the product images on your website?

In most cases you can't use images that aren't yours. Check with the company whose products you're promoting to get permission.

Ok, I understand. But, I do see tons of websites that are into affiliate, that just use those product images they promote, (I can link to a few examples) does that mean they have a permission from the companies?

I don't think that we can use the same images for our own affiliate website. So If you get an answer please quote that to me I also want to know about that.

Simple answer - no. There are many places like Pixabay for example that you can get royalty free images for free with no worrying about copywrite issues. There's plenty more, just google royalty free images.
Also regarding affiliate products usually you will be provided with all the sales material you need, usually banners including, worth checking with them.

I would use your own images. A lot of times with an affiliate program though, they give you sales material to use. If not find releavent images to your post, if you can snap them yourself, It will make your listing more desirable to the client and you will not have to worry.

Also, it may vary per program so the best thing to do is contact admin of that particular website and simply ask.. That is the best thing because every client has different rules.
