Image ALT information

    My site is powered by WP.

    Everytime when I attached an image, I did not write the ALT information. Is it bad in the view of SEO.

    Your images ALT attribs can be crawled by the image crawler, not the web crawler.

    So you need not to worry that the IMG ALT attrib will impact negative on your SERP at Web search.

    ALT text is very much essential for the OnPage SEO. Because most of the SE robots can't see the image, they can only crawl through the text. So without ALT text your OnPage is incomplete.

    The ALT Text is very important, especially if you want to get more traffic through the Google Images Search Engines etc.! You should have an ALT Tag for all relevant images

    ALT tag is very important factor in SEO. When due to some reason image doesn't display on website then this alt tag value appear in the place of Image.In most cases webmaster use their keyword in alt attribute for effective ranking.

    Alt attribute is important for SEO point of view. Better we can use some keyword as alt attribute .

    It is not bad, but use alt tag for every image with your relevant keyword. it will give you better results in search engines. it will not take enough time.

    yes. we have several sites with 500,000+ public domain images each which are categorized and tagged smartly, of course with ALT and TITLE tags. each of those sites gets over 5000 unique visits a day from Google Image search.
