    I don't think they have stated (publicly) anything like that.

    no, they haven't...and as of right now it is against their TOS to have images next to ads...maybe oneday we will be able to do this...

    I think the OP was referring to Yahoo supplying images in their adblocks, similar to what Google is doing.
