If we have multiple ads showing on the text ad block then the first ad pays most and so on. With image ads it usually covers the whole space, one ad per block. That probably means we do get more from CPM, but possibly less from clicks.
Don't know about which earn more revenue, but I think text ads convert better. Even more so if they look the same or similar to other links on your site. If it's an image ad a lot of them are obviously ads so people stray away from them. Text ads look more like a regular link on your site. Play around with both and different sizes and locations. You really never know what someone might be interested in when it comes to google ads.
i think image ads are really catchy for the eyes and you will probably have more clicks on them than your normal text ads. text ads could be more rewarding per click than image ads though. meaning the payout could be much higher on plain text ads.
image ads are cpm and based on 1000 impression and cpm ads are also not so high in my opinion text ads can earn u more
better revenue from my experiences is keyword targeting, stock and investments, also money making related...simple as that..you can't make good profits to a website with adsense if your keywords are not belong to the high paying bids..gotcha? traffic plus good keywords equals good adsense revenue...
Text ads also have more clicks rather than in image ads on my site. But it also depends on the topic of your blog.
I've been trying images since I got a message from google. But so far, it seems I got lower CPC, but it could come from my keywords have changed. Anyway, I'm still continue as per google's suggestion.
It depends on the niche of your website. Technology or Equipment related websites, for example are bad to place images, but text ads are working good, and for Movies related website or Games, it's really good to use images.
I've always had the best luck with text ads. I had great luck back in the day when you used to be able to put your own images directly above the Adsense ads, but now that's against Google's TOS.
text ads are better than the image ads, because people use to see the pic only and do not click, on the other hand people can click on your text ad thinking that it is the part of website's page.
