image ads on Google search results

anyone had any luck getting image ads to appear instead of text ads?

I want to get a tumb nail image appearing but so far, I have not managed it.

look at this screen shot , I want a small pic to appear with the price like in the examples - so I go into adwords and choose new image ad and it gives me all these options


320 x 50 Mobile leaderboard
468 x 60 Banner
728 x 90 Leaderboard
250 x 250 Square
200 x 200 Small square
336 x 280 Large rectangle
300 x 250 Inline rectangle
120 x 600 Skyscraper
160 x 600 Wide skyscraper

I choose 250x250 and then display URL etc and the image just sits in my ads awaiting review - all the other ads get accepted very quickly - anyone done this kind of graphic image ad on adwords before?

 

Image ads are when you use the display network. They won't show on the search network.

What you have there is someone linking their Adwords account with their Google Merchant account. That's done using the ad extensions feature.

I have never heard about such ads.
