    Hi,

I'm receiving emails about 404 errors related to images with spaces in the filenames. I have since corrected
the filename issue replacing spaces with dashes, but am still getting the 404 error messages.

These errors come from Google image searches. So, does this mean that Google just hasn't re-crawled the
revised corrected image filenames? Here are the errors I'm getting emails about:

A user tried to go to http://www dot leopardshoes dot org/wp-content/uploads/Christian%20Louboutin%20Leopard%20Shoes.jpg and received a 404 (page not found) error. It wasn't their fault, so try fixing it.
    They came from http://www.bing.com/images/search?q...307F697BF1D5C5D93E4ED5B&first=481&FORM=IDFRIR

A user tried to go to http://www dot leopardshoes dot org/wp-content/uploads/dolce-and-gabbana%2520leopard%2520shoes(1).jpg and received a 404 (page not found) error. It wasn't their fault, so try fixing it.
    They came from http://www.google.com/search?q=leop...t=mode&cd=2&ved=0CJABEPwFKAE&biw=1024&bih=672

A user tried to go to http://www dotleopardshoes dot org/wp-content/uploads/Manolo%20Leopard%20Print%20Heels.jpg and received a 404 (page not found) error. It wasn't their fault, so try fixing it.
They came from http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www dot leopardshoes dot org/wp-content/uploads/Manolo%2520Leopard%2520Print%2520Heels.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.leopardshoes.org/&h=500&w=500&sz=53&tbnid=JZDimzb5xR817M:&tbnh=114&tbnw=114&zoom=1&docid=egooyJxtpExr4M&hl=en&sa=X&ei=K1R7T_PwD8-ugQedvcD9Ag&ved=0CNEBEPUBMAs&dur=1725

    -------------------------

Secondly, I can't find out why Google is trying to locate this favicon.ico file?

A user tried to go to http://www dot leopardshoes dot org/favicon.ico and received a 404 (page not found) error. It wasn't their fault, so try fixing it.
They came from http://www dot leopardshoes dot org/leopard-print-shoes-wardrobe-tips/

    -------------------------

So, what can I do to prevent from getting these error messages all the time?

    Appreciate Any Advice

    George

Google probably just didn't re-index the corrected images yet. Do you have a favicon on your site? If you dont you may want to make one and put it where it is trying to be referenced.

    Thanks for the response.

So, how do I accelerate getting Google to re-index my corrected image filenames?

    Thanks

Upload a sitemap to Google webmaster tools and wait for it to re-crawl. That is the fastest way.
