I'm Worried, What Can I do?

Okay, to cut a long story short, I have some enemies, because of deals gone sour, them losing 'customers' to my free services and suchlike, their not big companies, but deluded indeviduals. I don't think there is anyone here, but there are people. Now, they attacked a friend of mine for similar reasons, but they got his Adsense. They clicked again, and again until my friends account was blocked, as a threat to publishers. I have a feeling it's going to happen to me, and I really want to avoid it, is there any way around it? I mean, I can afford to lose some organic clicks if it stops them getting me, because it's a very real issue for me, and I'm really worried.
What can I do? I'd really appreciate any help :)

Warn Google if you start getting attacked, take the ads offline and wait for Google's advice :)

i emailed Google a while back, they didn't say much that was useful:
Which means I've got to be there when the clicks happen, to report them, or I'll get banned, which is a bit,,, harsh :(

That's what annoys me about adsense. That fact that others can get you banned. It's not like you're given a log or anything. If they had log stats like

    123.123.123.123 at Jan 09 12:01:12am 1 click
    123.123.123.123 at Jan 09 12:01:56am 1 click
    123.123.123.123 at Jan 09 12:02:15am 1 click
    123.123.123.123 at Jan 09 12:02:59am 1 click
    123.123.123.123 at Jan 09 12:03:30am 1 click
    123.123.123.123 at Jan 09 12:03:45am 1 click

Than I could tell ip address 123.123.123.123 is abusing

Unless you're making thousands from your Adsense ads and can't afford to lose the income, why not just remove the ads for a while so that they aren't available to those who might want to hurt you. A little lost revenue now would be worth not losing your Adsense account forever. Personally, I would not trust Google to do the right thing, even if you can prove your clicks were fraudulent. It's too much of a risk.

just remove the publisher ID from your site. so the ads will still be displaying but clicks will not get reported under your account. so the fools who will be clicking on your ads will be having pleasure knowing that they are putting you in trouble, but in reality you are safe. you can put the publisher id back when the time comes

There is scripts that do this, give you the IP along with number of clicks, on what page, how they got to your site, what terms they queried if they came from a SE etc.

So installing one of these is a really wise option, but i agree it would be nice if they gave us a Google endorsed tool so we could work together to combat problems. Sometimes it seems like Google intentionally don't want to as a means of giving you the flick for "invalid clicks" and you can't prove otherwise.
