I'm wondering what 'IMPRESSION' stands for in CJ stats

I keep seeing certain number of 'Impressions' for one of my sites in CJ stats. It's strange 'cause it's my weakest website. The other websites with way more traffic are getting hardly any 'Impressions'. Ideas..?

 

impression is nothing but a pageview , might be people are clicking on the weaker site's product rather than the high traffic one.

 

You're probably right, that's the only thing that occurs to me as well

 

Impression in CJ means that the image in the link you generated was loaded/viewed.

If you think impressions are wrong, it is very possible that when you created the product links for your other sites, you forgot to change which website to track it to. You might check your links to see if that's what is happening.

 

impressions could also mean clicks on links

 

CJ seperates impressions and clicks.

 

I've found that CJ's impressions are always way off. Don't rely on their stats, they're screwy.

 

Means your link is being seen or on someone's browser windows. Doesn't mean anyone is clicking through the link just simply means that the link your website is placed on have users on that websites platform. Impressions are the beginning to getting a click.
