I have built my own website, but Im clueless with setting up this Coop Network. Create a file named ad_network_226.php in the main directory of your site (if your registered site URL is a sub-directory of the domain, it should go in that sub-directory): I'm clueless how to do this. Create an empty file named ad_network_ads_226.txt in the same directory. The web server user should have write permissions to this file. An easy way to set the permissions would be with the following command: Still clueless There are 5 steps like these and I don't understand them. I'm willing to pay for help to set this up. Hello I just signed up with digital point with there coop advertising program and I could use your help I am willing to pay what ever your time is worth Please let me know if you can help.
If you built your own site, chance are you ftp'd the pages up to your server. Create through windows notepad (not wordpad, notepad) empty files with those names. By empty, just open up notepad and then "save file as." Files will be blank. And ftp them up. However, if whatever program you built your site in automatically "published" it for you - follow the instructions below, but understand that sooner or later you'll need an ftp program. You should be able to download one for free from ZDNet or any of the file sharing sites. If your website host has CPanel, you can upload the files using CPanel. You can also change the permissions on the files from there. If a script has to be in one of the files, copy and paste whatever is supposed to be there into a notepad file. Make sure there are no blank spaces or returns at the end of the script/file. And then save it, making sure you change .txt to .php or whatever extension the file is supposed to end in.
I'll help anyone that wants to sign up or set it up for free as best I can. I have more than 200,000 weight in the CO-OP so I do know what I'm doing. Please PM me for details.
