this question i guess would be for all the SEO gurus around here..

as my title says i'm pretty interested in buying a strong PR6 link.. or maybe even more if it gives results...

my question is how long would u need to buy a or those strong PR links? due to having a limited budget i would like to buy PR links and then later stop having to pay and begin to finally make some money..

i'll explain the scenario a bit.. currently my site is listed in position 100 - 110 for 2 different keywords that I want to position my site by... so i assume if i buy 2 strong PR6 links.. each one linking me with a different keyword with in a matter of 3+ weeks i should get on the first page of google... now once there how much longer do i have to keep on having to pay for those links... i also assume if i remove the links too soon i would eventually drop back down to position 100+ or something...

any clues? has anyone done anything similar? link buying strategies?

I think a 3 week timeframe for hitting the top ten is unrealistic, but it depends on the competitiveness of your keywords.

Once you buy a link, continue to pay for it. The benefits increase the longer the link stays active. Make sure that the links you buy are on relevant websites with a lot of related content, and that they aren't marked in any way as paid links.

haha... i was being a bit optimistic... i like seeing glass half full...

but like i mentioned before links can be pretty expensive.. i can easily spend hundreds a month in 2 to 4 PR6 backlinks... and if my site only makes enough to break even then the sooner i stop paying for links the sooner i'd have profits...

well then you need a new strategy because as soon as you stop paying for those links and they disappear, your site will lose the benefit of the links and the current ranking will free fall....try and come up with creative ways for your site to attract natural links

What are good sites that estimate future predicted PR? does any one have any suggestions?

Well, if you donot have a current pr then go in for pr2,3,4 links initially with lesser burden on your wallet and get into the serps slowly, you can remain there for longer time then, once you gain some pr then you can stop paying for those links as they generally will not remove, they may ask for a backlink which should not be a problem, then get higher pr links(building up your ranking slowly is the best bet, if you ask my suggestion)
