Well placement looks good and they are not very intrusive.
I would have a bigger header in place of the text ads in the post.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether or not image ads pay more than text ads or vice versa?

Nicely designed site but it takes too long to load.

Your placement of vertical ads is good.
But the ads on the articles, it was above the comment box, I doubt visitors would click in there.
