    What was the money for?

From your bank to pay people, or money you have made?

    If the first, sorry man!
    If the second, start again.

I use my mums paypal account because Ive only just gone 16 myself.....its safer than being found out to be underage.

Hey, can't you contact the people who have paid you to ask for a refund. Then ask them to make the payment again to your parent's account. This will not work if you got the payment from a large number of people or if most of it was donation. If you made the money by doing some service, then I think your payers will do this small help for you.

What caused your account to get limited, if you know?

If it was due to getting a bunch of transactions, or an increase in volume, you could probably wait 6 months and they will release your money.

Hmm, if it gave you a 1-402 number, you're not in the U.S.

    You'll NEVER learn.

Lonely up there on your pedestal. Teenagers can have a bank account if there parents will back it. Why can't they have their own paypal account? Its a really pointless technicality that doesn't serve any purpose. People can get around their verification process really easily anyway.

Its serves a major purpose, because minors cannot sign legal contracts. If you could link a minors paypal account to their parents, then I would not see a problem with allowing minors to have a paypal account.

    Try this,

Refund the payment ( only after talking to the person who sent you the payment ) and then resend it to your mom's account.

sorry no time to read the entire thread have read only first few.

    Else,

You have to pitch your parents in it and try to prove them by providing docs stating that this transaction has nothing to do with any business and was a mistake committed by you.
