thanks for the tip..i was thinking that is what it was...

in fact, i think i am going to build my own network to do the same for my own site.

Do you know of any resources where I might be able to get some guidance in building this type of network?

    many thanks!

When building my network I didn't really find any help like blogs etc. Luckily I know WordPress inside out, and have been running 20 - 100 sites at once for years, just never networked together.

Best advice I can give is to build one site, from that make a plan and try to stick with it. I had to develop a tool to add on domains and install WP from a text file in cpanel....

    Good luck

Thanks DD, I appreciate the advice..I know that before I ever try to start more sites, I should probably make sure the primary property I run should be tip top.

    Cheers!

I wouldn't recommend building your own network for two reasons:

    1. It will end up costing you a lot of money.
In order for the network to work you will have to have them all hosted separately and all registered under different names.

    2. It will cost you a lot of time.
It will be very time consuming and confusing to set it all up and to keep in running.

It would be better to find a network already in established and in place. Then you won't have the ongoing expense, nor will you have to spend the time setting up all of them.

Check my signature if you are interested in finding out more.

    Hope this helps,

This helps a lot and I understand why building my own would not work very well.

It seems that this network is a good one, but I'd like to do a bit more research before committing.

Thank you very much for the tip and advice!!

Right.... research all you can, just don't get stuck in research mode. Researching won't improve rankings or make any money.
