Guys, I decided to try out Smowtion. Currently added 10 of my sites with total page views per day being 10,000. Has anyone had good luck with Smowtion? I'll report on my earnings after several days! Brox.
I've been using them for a bit. I stick with them because I've found them very helpful when replying to support tickets and I have yet to see a dodgy redirection ad. I don't earn alot from them (13,000 impressions $1.71) but I don't have very high traffic anyway. I also use AdsDAQ and receive better rates from them (1,899 impressions $0.84) not sure if you've tried them. They pretty much have the same requirements as Smowiton but they can be a bit more picky over site layout and content.
Uh, oh. 13,000 impressions = $1.71 -- that is extremely low CPM. At CPX I get $1.5 per 1000 impressions. I am currently diversifying my income to more revenue streams. Haven't tried AdsDAQ yet, gonna sign up and add some sites there.
Smowtion is doing well for me, I also like their system that shows you how much procent you earn (if you sign up from an affiliate you earn 80% instead of 60%). In my opinion Google Adsense should become more like Smowtion -- a better interface, better support etc
Okay, I have tried them out for several days. Conclusion: not cool. 1. several ads on a single page count as one ad. 2. banners + popunders count as one, even it i display 5 popunders and 5 banners I get 1 impression. 3. made $3 from 10000 impressions, the hell with $3. 4. site approval takes days. 5. i don't believe i am getting paid 80%. the same shitty ads on CPX give me $1.5 CPM, here it's $0.3. That's it for now.
