    I just set up Joomla on one of my domains and could use some help. Any good tutorials or reference sites would be appreciated. I figured it was time for me to cut back on the wordpress and try something new.

    Thanks in advance!

    sure.

    Start with forums.joomla.org and do a search another there. A lot of good stuff.
    compassdesigns.net/ is a good start. They also have a ebook for sale that is really good and will save you time. A video tutorial from JoomlaMagic is really good stuff. (google it or drop me a PM)

    The ebook from Packt Publishing is a great resource for a newcomer to Joomla.
    Personally I found it easier to read that than use the forums, etc.

    best way i found to get started with joomla was to justinstall it

    change the theme

    add some modules and generally get used to how it manages menu's etc

    after that you will find you need specific help on specirfic problems at which point you need to start using the forums a lot.

    gimme a pm of you need help too i have a decent amount of joomla experience.

    as turbosatan said, the best way to learn Joomla is to play with it yourself. Have it installed along with sample data and then make changes and see their effects over your site;
