Science says emotion is a neurological signal generated in the amygdala.

    No it hasn't.

I am a big fan of science. I even study neurology and find it very useful, so I do appreciate science. The point though is that science explains the scientific side of the world, but spirituality explains the spiritual side. And yes, the spiritual side is more important.

Yes it has, you just don't believe it.

I don't believe it because every study performed on the subject has proven that it does nothing.

I feel your point of view but I live in a state with more watersheds than any other in the country (US) and in high school when we did our water tests we found that pretty much all the water in my county was undrinkable unless purified. Commercial farming runnoff, factory dumping, and just plain every day polution makes this water rich state, water sick. In the eastern part of my state it is not unheard of for tap water to come out black.

Negative proof is a logical fallacy. The fact that proof is absent proves nothing, not that something doesn't exist, work or happen.

Proof isn't absent. The proof just happens to prove it doesn't work.

If someones says A will cause B you can test this simply by doing A and seeing if B occurs. If B doesn't occur you have proven that A doesn't cause B.

stox I have a question for you..

I'm not trying to prove my point either, I just want your honest opinion. Yesterday when i came out of Denny's with my friend, I looked up in the sky and saw 2 fresh criss crossing patterns right above us. The weird thing is, they both started SUDDENLY, it wasn't fading or gradual or anything. They also only extended for a little bit, it did not go for the entire path of the jet, maybe a mile long each, but they did fade out at the end.

I could not see any other jets in the sky until they began the trails, suddenly you could see the black triangle leading the bright white trails in what once a clear blue sky.

So what is this in your opinion? If it were a changing of altitudes, it would surely be more gradual, a temperature change also does not occur so rapidly, both factors ruled out? And why were the trails gradual at the end? I may accept an elevation change there, but the beginning makes no sense.

It could have been any number of reasons why the trails appeared to start and stop suddenly. Thermals, Air humidity, turbulant currents.
