hi guys just trying to help a friend out! remoted in his pc and cleaned out some spyware.. rebooted into safe mode but not the whole way into it.. because come to fine out he has a thumb print reader! and he forgot the pass word.. so now my remote software keeps trying got go into safe mode but we get to a screen that stops us because of his dumb software.. see in safe mode the thumb print software dose not work with his thumb.. only with a pass word that he forgot! all i have to do is fix the ini file but how can i get to it when im 2k miles away! and cannot boot into normal mode.. or safe mode? we do have a windows xp cd but he forgot his admin pass word when we tried a recovery! yikes! he has a ton of data looks like he is mailing this laptop to me??? thanks any help at this point would be nice..
