Im stuck :( Connecting secondary monitor.

So i have a VGA port on my motherboard. I have connected another video card that has both VGA and DVI ports. Both of my monitors use VGA.

So i have connected the monitors
    I turned the comp on
Went to properties/setting and i can not detect the motherboard connected monitor. I can only see the secondary VGA port on my video card i can not use.

So how do i enable the port i have on the motherboard? Or should i just go and buy a VGA to DVI adapter so that i could use just the two ports on my video card?

Hope this is not too confusing. Thanks!

You have to buy a converter to convert the DVI to VGA.

You cannot use both AGP (motherboard AGP+ EXTRA AGP). There is one possibility if your extra VGA card is PCI based.
