Hi All. I've been trying really hard to try and get links for my site www.AudioBookMegamart.com From what I can see, buying links or directory links seem to be the best options. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Cheers. Brett.
It's definitely hard to gain "natural" links (from say bloggers writing about your site), especially if your site is just a clone and offers nothing unique. If you're looking for sales fast, try PPC advertising instead of buying links.
Use Social Bookmarking. It's free and highly customisable. If you want a free report on the subject, check out my site at: http://lazeetoolz.com/2007/06/13/social-bookmarking-heres-my-23-page-guide/ Thanks

Article marketing is my prime form of advertising, and I want to say the vast majority of my links come from writing and submitting articles. Also you can post in forums with a link to your site in your signature file.
Try Linkreferral. It's a unique type of traffic exchange where you have to review sites in order to have your site shown higher up in the rankings. You can get natural links to relevant sites from here. http://here-is-more.info/?i=114711/digitalpoint
