I strongly suggest that you improve the rank of your site so that writers would be attracted to contribute. Also, make sure your author resource box is dofollow. If it is nofollow, authors would shun your site.
English is fine and yeah first you gotta get your article website known to the writers. Ask yourself a few simple questions like.. what will i get after posting an article on this site? Which audience should I first focus? What type of experience do I want my reader to have and how can I keep them coming back for more by providing quality article? Starting an article website is a bit hard because you need lot of seo writers in the beginning.if you find some contributes then your work will be easy.Domain key words are play and an important role for ranking better but buy something which is easy to remember.
well, starting a website is easy bro but constant promotion and plr stuff is difficult. I too sell PLR content to many website and i know it is difficult to get quality articles.
One advice would be that you should concentrate well hard on moderating articles. Eventually, this will help you in attaining the quality and also rankings for your article directory.
It is probably better to make your article directory specialized (niche) - this will give you better chance to grow IMO. For example, make an article directory that accepts articles on computers only or only health articles - as long as the niche that you choose is popular, Google should give you more love than if you start a 'general" article directory as the competition out there is enormous!
