I'm exactly the same, Its just your metabolism. Nothing to worry about, but I'm not a doctor Just eat like a normal person does, and if you stay skinny be thankful.
I do not take any protein supplements; I do eat a lot of "substitute foods" because they are yummy and formulated for us. Most are organic and soy-based, so they are healthier than "real" hamburgers and ice cream, while also being enriched with nutrients. I am also addicted to pasta, and hummus burritos, so as I said, my weight stays pretty normal and even goes up a little if I go to the store. For the most part, I just eat whatever I feel like. If I'm short on protein, I start craving beans. It's important to eat smaller meals, more frequently. I eat throughout the day instead of trying to stick to traditional mealtimes. A great book is the "Four New Food Groups" by Dr. Neal Barnard, and for cookbooks go to the "How It All Vegan" series by Sarah Kramer & Tanya Barnard.
Go to mcdonalds and eat that french fries, or any other stuff, ppl telling it will get u fat (while traveling to school i started visiting it daily, spending $10's daily there, but not getting fatter, i need some KG too)
Did you actually read my posts? Physical activities don't only help to lose weight, but they also help to GAIN WEIGHT if you're doing them right. I mentioned some good weight-gaining exercises in my previous post. So, if you don't know anything about sport and how it helps, then be silent and listen to what others have to say. Looking at your picture I can tell you what you need. Cycling + sit-ups for your legs and press-ups for your arms. Keep doing them every day about 20-30 minutes and after 2-3 months you'll see the result. Believe me, it's much better than taking some shitty pills.
Katy gives some good advice about diet and exercise, but unexpectedly losing weight is worth seeing a doctor about. Assuming you have not recently become a vegan / vegetarian and the weightloss is a result of that it could be related to an overactive thyroid. It happens sometimes but is easily corrected.
Yes, thats true too. Dont gamble with your health... The sooner the better to visit a doctor in some serious case. That's easier said than done, but worth to try
5'5" age 20 miss average 45k = 99 lb weekly medical supervision and blood tests 43k = 94 lb and hospitalization if you are 12k = 27 lb underweight and near any of the above limits, you need to get help red meat i.e. beef is very important for both men and women. ask yourself the following questions. Have your periods become irregular or stopped? low estrogen levels during the peak years of bone-building through the preteen and teen years, can affect bone density for the rest of your life. Bone growth lost during these years cannot be regained. You may be putting yourself at risk for developing osteoporosis (brittle bone disease) So it is important to have calcium and vitamin D (Vitamin D3 increases calcium absorption) in your system from foods such as: Milk, margarine/butter, eggs, chicken livers, salmon, sardines, herring, mackerel, and swordfish. Fish oils such as halibut and cod liver oils all contain small amounts of vitamin D - even sunlight provides the body with vitamin D. Therefore when girls often replace milk with diet coke, they are missing out on a great source of calcium - like all dairy products. These can range from; small breasts, (unless you want A cup size), hormone imbalance, (leading to more PMS symptoms) stunted height, difficulty to conceive in later life, weakness, anaemia and internal organ failure. Girls who may be trying to lose weight by restricting their eating and/or engaging in rigorous exercise are at risk from these health problems. Girls who believe "you can never be too thin." need to stop for a moment and consider your health – it is much more important than how you think you look. Significant psychological problems may also become a major factor; hormonal changes in a woman's body may trigger symptoms of depression, problems sleeping, stronger emotional reactions, mood swings, self harm and anxiety. Thyroid hormone levels can cause symptoms of depression including depressed mood, decreased interest in things, irritability, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, sleep problems, and weight gain - causing a yoyo effect with eating problems info from my website asksam2.com one smart cookie you are a guy right? well i'll tell you how lack of meat can affect you. YOU DO NOT NEED TO EAT MEAT ^^^^^^^^^^^ this is so wrong, you shouldn't be giving advice to anyone that can put their life in danger unless you are medically trained. Hormonal changes in a man's body from lack of food and red meat and or extreme amounts of exercising leads to testosterone levels falling. This being the sex hormone, means guys end up with low sperm counts, lack of sex drive, problems sustaining an erection (if able to get one in the first place), under development, (including penis size) and problems to sire a child. info from my website asksam2.com
hahaha! Are you from Oakland?? I am, and that's the only place I ever hear anyone use the word "hella" and your post was hella funny!!! hahaha!!
Have you noticed any other abnormal changes in your body? Like are your fingernails clubbing (curving downward)? That can be a sign that you need to see a doctor immediately. or You might have a little fellow (worm) living inside your body eating up all your nutrients, probably should have it checked anyway just to be sure.
Never thought of that. Good observation. If that's the case then a couple of pills will sort it in no time.
yeah another user suggested it to me,i will try, looks tasty Thanks Katy,i decided that i will start next week in the gym thanks,i will search for these books! Omg thats scary! i dont thought in this before! yes,i think that i will have to go to the doctor, ( i hate it!) thanks for the answer. great post, samatha, but i really dont want to eat meat,im trying to keep healtly without meat,i dont know if will work to me,but im trying ,i dont eat meat for 5 years and only now in having this problem with height
Osteoporosis affects more than 20 million women in the United States. Of these women there will be 1.5 million bone fractures annually. It is the number 2 killer of women. The National Institutes of Health now recognize osteoporosis as one of the four deadliest diseases among women. you aint eaten meat in 5 years and wonder why you are small? you are so going to have major health issues when you get older, age 40+ your bones will just snap without much force and they wont heal right. you'll be luck if you reach age 60 am i scaring the crap out of you yet? i hope so, eat meat, before your dead meat yourself without meat you are killing yourself, how can killing yourself be "keeping healthy"?
Actually, I'm a 38 DD, FYI, I don't know why everyone here thinks I'm male. I've been vegan for almost eight years and have done a ton of research on the subject. There are a great many medical doctors giving the same advice and I just pointed the OP toward a book by one. I'm not the one dispensing ignorant medical advice.
but samatha, a lot of vegans dont eat meat for ages and are totally healtly... and i have read in a magazine that vegans can live more than people who eat meat, because vegans dont eat all the adrenaline and hormones of meat, i know a woman with 60 years old that never have eat meat and she is totally healtly
you are 38 and she is 20ish, the difference is that you had eaten meat and built up your bone strength and turned vegan at age 30. any fool that buys a book from a Dr is forgetting the fact that the Dr is selling the book because they want to make money from people that are willing to part with it, do you think for one second if they put on the book cover, you can die from following thre advice in this book, do you think they would sell many? of cause not. do you know how silly you sound? you know 1 woman thats never eaten meat and is healthy at age 60. yet the statistics put osteoporosis as the 2nd biggest killer of women after heart attacks, it kills more women than breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer combined. did you ever think that you knowing 1 healthy women age 60, is telling you another story? all the other are DEAD long before their time. but fine, i'm only a paediatric nurse, i know nothing about the health needs of a growing girl.
