Normally I am a very calm person, but today I am ready to jump out of my skin. In February I started a new company with a friend dealing in the oil & gas industry. We have had several nice orders, but last week i put out a quote that basically would mean 1 year of living expenses to me. I just got a fax that all looks good and they just need someone to sign off on the purchase order which should come through today. The wait is just nerve-wracking.
You selling used gas pumps, Roman? My neighbor does it here. He makes a TON of money doing that. He hired this chick to answer phones and she made enough sales in a month, that he bought her a Mercedes :O
Criminy! Good luck. In through the nose... out through the mouth. Find your calm place. Then be sure to post footage of the dance you do when the deal closes!
Thanks, I might not get confirmation till tomorrow as the one that signs purchase orders never returned to the office from a meeting and most likely won't be in till tomorrow. I gotta get drunk.
Don't drink till the deal is done... you may still need to contribute soberly to close it off. Hope it works out for you.
I wanted to work on my site today, but I just can't focus, but here is something I figured out: If I spent the time this deal takes me and received the same income on a regular full time basis I would earn in the neighborhood of $250,000,000.00/year.
