Im so excited!

Today - my first forum, Lincoln vs Cadillac, reached the milestone of 5,000 registered members!!!!!!


-Thanks in part to DP and the great members here. I learned much about SEO here over the last 2 years.

 

As the owner of several dead forums I can say that it is quite an achievement!

 

Way to go. Who's winning though?

 

Lincoln is - the caddy guys are much less talkative

 

BTW - Here is a pic of My and one of my Lincolns. We (LVC) had a picnic here in Chicago in August and this pic was taken then.

 

That's because everyone knows that Lincoln owners are mobsters and gangstas.

 

I don't like blatent plugs. This is not an advertising forum or self promotion forum but a general chat forum.

Asside from that, forums are kinda cool especially when you run one with alot of members. You feel like a dictator over your internet subjects. You can control everything. Delete random users, erase sigs, start an argument, ect. Heh heh

BTW v bulletin is overrated. PHP BB is almost the same.

Starting a forum is tough, and having a successful automotive forum is tougher - and trying to make people realize what a cool freekin car the Lincoln Mark VIII is with-out being able to take them for a ride down a winding mountain road at 120+MPH gliding smooth as silk - thats tough too.

My 93' (may she rest in peace) was a beauty.
