Just check www.afternic.com , there's tons of expensive domains being bought and sold. That's just how the domain name goes. If you're likely enough to find a short dot com url with such relevant keywords, it likely is worth its 5000$

Many SEO company could benefit from such a name as many have obscure names like seomoz.com or seofirmnow.com. I give it my thumbs up. Forum junkies are usually looking for bargains and critize large expectations because their business is just starting, but that's how the domain game goes. It's easy, there's a lot of luck involved, and the yeilds can be disgustingly high if you find the right person.

 

I think you are right fiucer, opps I mean jimmyrcom, to an extent. You have a better chance at winning the lottery then finding a person to pay thousands of dollars for an undeveloped domain such as PRdeal.com . I like the name PRdeal and it could be developed into something profitable but the price tag is out of touch with reality. I wouldn’t mind buying this domain for low XX.

Road map to success on the inter web:

1. Get an idea from forum to buy and sell domain names
2. Think of a "Creative Name" for a .com to see how this domain game works
3. Buy Domain at Godaddy.com with no promo code or bulk buying
4. Appraise your own domain at the $xx,xxx range, with no past experience in pricing domains
5. Post that your domain is for sale at $10,000
6. Through public scolding you find out that your domain sucks, ego is hurt, and must do a little research to better your online presence.

8. Re-price domain at $15 after coming to your senses

fiucer: probably this is a marketplace for you to sell whatever site/domain at whatever price you like. however, dont forget this is a community too.

there is probably something wrong if you can get insanely -ve rep by just a thread. i'm sure it is not because the price of the listing, most likely it is your attitute towards a community.
