I'm selling my established Skin Care website...

I am selling my established skin care website:

    http://www.ChinaDollSkin.com

The site focuses on a specific line called Verattiva...they are special skin care products made of aloe vera and probiotics from milk enzymes.

This website has so much potential, but I just don't have the time (nor the passion) necessary anymore to maintain and take this business to the next level.

The skin care industry is very lucrative...if you have website experience or the ambition and time to put into this website, it could be a solid income-producer for you.

You get the whole package including the blog which has over 30 posts. Everything is set up for you including an existing relationship with a drop shipper.

You get the order, forward it to the drop shipper and they fulfill the order. You can also set it up so the drop shipper gets an order notification email...this way, the business is semi-automated. The dropshipper invoices you every 30 days.

The website uses Biz Builder, a fully integrated ecommerce engine and website builder.

Here's a screenshot of the main page:

    http://www.chinadollskin.com/webbuilder.gif

The website already gets decent traffic and is search engine optimized.

    View stats here:

    http://www.ChinaDollSkin.com/stats

To date, the website has generated over 2 grand in revenue for me with an average order of $70 dollars (the profit at retail is about 45% on every order).

You will also take over ownership of my customer file of 30 customers, some repeat customers. Do a better job than I did at building a relationship with these folks and it should be GOLD for you.

Here's a screen shot of some of my more recent orders...you can see the orders range from $30 dollars to $130 dollars.

The only cost involved to run the site is a hosting fee of $30 per month. This goes to Biz Builder and has nothing to do with me. The $30 per month covers the hosting and ecommerce capabilities.

Biz Builder also has an Ebay management tool that is seperate from the website builder and is included in the $30 per month...so really you're getting two businesses.

Here's a screen shot of the ebay main page:

    How this will work:

    1. Make me an offer...highest offer wins of course.
    2. We'll call up Biz Builder together and get the website and hosting put into your name.
    3. I'll get the blog (run thru blogger.com) put into your name.
    4. If you want, I'll spend some time on the phone with you introducing you to Biz Builder and how it works...there are also video tuturials.

So that's it. I think this is a great opportunity for the right person.

Minimum bid is $500. Payment via PayPal. Please PM me your bid.

I would like to wrap this up by this Wednesday the 17th. I would end it sooner but I am away on business from the 13th to the 17th so I don't know how much time I will have while I'm away to work with the winning bidder.

I will check this thread as often as I can and answer whatever questions you have.

    Talk to you soon!

    Hi,

Who is the domain name registered with?

If I was to buy this site I would provide my own hosting, would the website files be able to be transfered to me?

    Thanks in advance..

    Craig

Hi Craig - the hosting/web builder/ebay portal/ecommerce engine are all provided by http://www.myebiz.com for the $30/month. In my original post I said Biz Builder...I meant My Ebiz.

I'm sure you can transfer the hosting to another company, but then you're losing the web builder and ecommerce capabilities of My Ebiz.

But if you could make the files work with another program, then I suppose it could work...I'd imagine it would be confusing unless you're very HTML savvy.

    Ryan,

Without full website portability the price is way too high imho. It's pretty much cross-selling the service attached to the website so no matter what myebiz is getting paid because they are the backbone of the site.

Please correct me I am wrong because the site does interest me.

When I started the website, I signed up with MyEbiz because I wanted an all emcompassing solution.

To build and manage the website...to process the orders...etc etc. The ebay tool was just valued added, but I had no intention of using it.

So while you MIGHT be able to take the website files and adapt them to a seperate solution, I don't think that's the way to go.

And like I said, the $30/month has nothing to do with me...I don't get a penny of this.

Judging from what others are charging here, I think $500 is extremely reasonable.

This assumes you have some internet marketing knowledge, know websites and have motivation to keep at it.

    - the domain is very well optimized in the engines for various aloe vera keywords, among other skin care keywords

    - you get ownership of my customer file

    - average order size is $70 dollars

    - a relationship with a reliable drop shipper is already established.

If the right person with the right knowledge bought this site from me, I think they could do very well with it.
