If it's free it will be great

I just need to edit some videos with a messege when it starts and maybe add a url to the video

    Thanks in advance

If you're using Windows - then try Windows Movie Maker. It's free, and it's actually not a bad program for quick and dirty video editing.

VirtualDub.org is good. But nowhere near as easy to use as WMM. And is probably overkill for what you want to do.

I searched for this kind of software too and found that no other free software can help you out with editing your videos.

Unless you don´t want to invest in Adobe Premiere (which is btw really good piece of software and user - friendly enough also for newbies) you don´t really have much of choice - windows movie maker can help you out with almost every editing you´ll need. The only format you´ll need for this kind of work, you are looking for is flash - but you can easily find a flash converter (I personally use vlc which can do it for you:)
