I'm really pissed off with this website!

    Who is the owner of this website?:

    www.hemorrhoidsmiracle.com

    I've been promoting this piece of crap like crazy but no sales. You know what i found out today? when i try to click to the website using MY hop. The first thing i get is an alert form my browser telling me this is an attack site.

    Ok never mind this might be a mistake so I proceed to the site. And there's at the browser i saw the link is displaying my affiliate id. http://hemorrhoidmiracle.com/?hop=myid. Great. But when i click purchase this is what i found out at the payments detail page:

    [affiliate = none]

    i try again using MY hop

    [affiliate = drm247.index]

    That is not my affiliate id. I don't even know who's id is that. I try numerous times and finally i get my id. I suspect the owner is using some kind of script that changes the affiliate id to... maybe his own. I'm losing a lot of time and money because of this moron. To friends out there please be careful.

    Sounds more like his site has been hacked and inserted someone else's affiliate id.

    If that is the case the owner should do something with it.. It's really frustrating you know when you already invested a lot of time and money on the project.

    if you cant get in contact with the ite owner then you could try asking clickbank about the user id that is automatically going into the sale. See if that ID belongs to the same person who owns the product you are promoting.

    I agree, if the site has been attacked by someone, then contact the owner and tell him about this, then contact CB so they can ban this user and cancel his/her account. Simple.

    According to WHOIS, the owner of the domain is:

    Darin Mathews

    well that makes sense, since the affiliate ID you get when you go to this page is drm247

    drm = Darin Mathews

    The owner might be ripping off the affiliates by planting his aff cookie

    It's probably not the owner - he/she will be an idiot and will never get any affiliates promoting their products in the future...

    hmm, the website loads rather slow. You should try to optimize it since it takes over 20 seconds to resolve the host...

    And you should actually read posts, the threads about ripping affiliates off , not whether the damn site loads quickly or not :rolleyes:

    Yeah, there's no excuse for this:

    I loaded up the site for the first time ever as a url type in (never had a cookie for it) and instead of aff = none I get aff = drm247.index

    At best, a complete disregard for his affs through incompetence - at worst a fraud artist.

    No respect for him here regardless.

    He might just be trying to do some split testing and tracking, not realising that his cookie is overwriting affiliates. Or, he could be ripping you off. I'd get in touch with him first rather than going straight to Clickbank. Obviously stop sending traffic until it's sorted though :)

    OK here's what I think he is doing. I think he's try to boost his gravity or at least just use one affiliate link (presumable rotating it manually later, even though you can do that with php anyway), for all traffic that doesn't come from a hoplink. He's doing this with the underscore style link.

    If you send traffic using a hoplink then these php order urls do not use the "underscore" linking and you will get the credit.

    Seriously, I don't think you have anything to worry about but its precisely for this reason that I don't use these order link rotation scripts myself because they just cause a lot of misunderstanding. Have you contacted him about it?

    This is really a serious issue you are pointing out there! People can be so dishonest on the internet. That is why i make sure i check my affiliate links properly at least twice every month!
