Im on Vbulletin 3.5.2 Upgrading to 4.0 Publishing Suite,what 5 Plugins do u Recommend

    Im on a BARE BONES Vbulletin 3.5.2 Upgrading to 4.0 PSuite, what 5 Plugins do u Recommend?

    If i had to get 5 features right away...what do you think are 5 Plugins should i get?

    The latest version of vBulletin is 4.0.3 PL1 not 4.0.2

    I think there is a 4.02 though. Do you recommend any must Have plugins???

    No point in installing plug-ins just for sake of installing them in my opinion. Too much clutter is well... too much clutter. Install ones that suit the site you are running. :)

    Great advice shawn.... However i did really like that new digital spy plugin you built... Man that was pretty pimp!

    Are you happier with the newest version of VB as opposed to the old... I like how the blogs (the ones on this site) have indexed really well. I bet that helped you in the serps.

    Yeah, I like the newer version myself. Out of the box, it's not as polished as 3.8.x was... so does require some work to make it "ready for public" imo... but that's just me.

    Yeah im impressed with publishing suite...minus the bugs....but im sure they will continue to iron them out..especially with help from folks like you Shawn who keep informing them of the bugs.

    Yeah, there were quite a few bugs fixed in 4.0.4. There were 34 of the bugs I reported fixed in 4.0.4 alone.

    vbulletin.com has upgraded to 4.0.4, so with some luck we should get 4.0.4 ourselves soon.

    Well someone had to report the bugs...you have one of the largest forums on the net...Its appreciated (the bug reporting) . Lookin forward to the next upgrade.

    P.S. - i should be signing up for a premium membership on DP sometime this year.
