I recently started a technology blog, this site is basically going to be used to pay some hosting bills and thats about it. It has a great start to organic traffic, all very targeted and keeps visitors on my site for quite a bit of time. Here my first weeks google analytics: http://i.imgur.com/Jep0n.jpg Here is the problem: How do i make money off of it? My current plan is to become a newegg affiliate and hopefully get some revenue there, but im not sure if they will accept my request so I want a good plan B. Anybody have any ideas how to make money with a tech blog?
Plan B can be adsense. Experiment with different ad networks and see which ones make you the most money.
Ive never had a good expirience with adsense personally, their ad's are really ugly and overall it seems to degrade your website a lot unless they are strategically placed.
hard to say their are some clickbank offers that deal with technology that might work good for your site
I would definitely offer CPA offers. I would also start a newsletter and build an email list that you can promote to.
Put up some backlinks, add more content and link your pages right You need traffic and traffic is king - you will learn that it's a rough and grueling process ahead of you
Traffic is no problem for me, quite easy haha. Not the same affiliate marketing that your thinking, im doing a Newegg partnership.
Sign up with payperpost.com I think there are other sites that do similar things but I find that to be the easiest. It's pretty simple. A company posts an offer for you to post something about them on your blog and you write it, if they accept it then you get paid. The better your site is, the more you will get paid. Some go as low as $4 per post whereas others go $250+
