Evening, people. I recently found out that converting my Bootstrap theme to a Wordpress theme would be the best way to set up my website, since I'm not really experieced with CMS. So I stumbled upon http://bootstrapwp.rachelbaker.me/ after looking for an alternative of http://www.charityandbiscuits.com/blog/tutorial-convert-bootstrap-site-template-wordpress/. (hyperlinking isn't working) Basically, I haven't got a single clue on how to convert my design into a Wordpress theme. This is what it looks like (nearly, I actually put a box for log-ing in between the social bar and the news box). Any help is really really appreciated. Kind regards, ~Sacrive
Hi Sacrive, Why has someone suggested you convert to a wordpress site? I had an interesting discussion concerning bootstrap. Somebody, somewhere said they liked the look of a site made with bootstrap, and that everyone is using bootstrap. I have wanted to use wordpress for my site, so I had to understand exactly what bootstrap was. Eventually I realise it is only a system for making the site more responsive.
Hey Brit50, the reason was my inexperience with CMS (I need it for a fully functional login system), so a Wordpress site with a Bootstrap "theme" would do the job. I've never really been into PHP/ASP since I mostly worked with layouts and not back-end scripting. Kind regards, Sacrive
