    I live in Hawaii and I'm temped to go play rugby with the Polynesians at my school. I have no idea whats going on but it looks really fun. Should I try and pick it up?

    Most definitely. The nice thing is, its only touch rugby. You should really watch the All Blacks or Manu Samoa play and figure out the game before "engaging" in it. It's not football, at all really...

    Start by playing touch

    but then I have no idea how sporty you are or what your physique is. Personally I wouldn't send my little-for-his-age son out onto a rugby field but he loves touch.

    the real tragedy, though, is that you are in Hawaii and you're not surfing or mountain biking :)
