    please give me some pointers i'm new.

    I have not a clue on this issue.

    I have 2 websites fully up and functional.

    I heard I need a sitemap but how do i do one for Joomla 1.5.9?

    It would be good to submit sitemaps to google and other search engines. Optimize your Meta Tags for your keywords. Those are a couple of things you can do.

    there are lots of sites that are offering some plugins that would help you get your site map up. Google for them.

    hello you wants google sitemap.xml yeah normal site map then if you needs sitemap.xml after that submit your site googlewebmasters.tool.com and free create site map by more site search in google.
