Social media is very important to marketing, making sure you have solid social media profiles and advertising what you offer on there can gain a lot of organic traffic. I have started to use Facebook Advert also and that can really help people see your products and click onto your website so I do recommend it. Hope this helps.

When it comes to online marketing one of the heavily weighing factors are the quality of your graphics. People don't trust low quality graphics since it gives the image of a poorly run company.

 

There are many things you'll want to do as there is no possible one answer to this question. Success online tends to happen organically. But my first tip is try to leverage your efforts either by outsourcing your tasks. This can either be done by the efforts of technology or other people. I do not know what your company's product is, but I was in charge of my company's insurance site and is important you at minimum have an area for content management and web design. Both of these tasks are large and go beyond the scope of this thread but those two will be key. Other than that, social media is where I found the quickest results. Social media also allowed me to build up an online brand and conversation around our company which drew more people locally to our site.

The only thing that makes or breaks a business website is? .... TRAFFIC .... that means targeted traffic

There are two primary ways of getting traffic:

1. Paid traffic - reliable, can be laser focused if you use the right sources and importantly, can be scaled up once you tweak your offer etc and improve your conversion rate
   
   
2. Free traffic - which is never free. I am not against it and I often use these methods. Just be aware it is not free by the time you count your time, the loss of sales opportunity (which you get with paid traffic literally overnight) and all the tools you buy to create the free traffic. And free traffic is getting harder. All the good sources of traffic now want to monetize for their own benefit and as soon as you become highly successful at getting people off of those sites and onto your own site, they will block you or change their rules.

Having said that, I'd focus on creating quality content (text, video and audio reports ... all focused on your specific topic) that can be shared and passed around by your readers/viewers/followers. Done right, this creates a viral traffic wave that you will not be able to stop.

Three years ago I created a tool for viral report sharing. We used a very poor quality report and a limited test ... it was our first test ... and then got on with some big projects. Recently I got back to that viral tool ... I was amazed ... stats showed that the (poor quality) report had been shared more than 50 times! And the link inside it had gotten 1,815 clicks to a site that did long been shut down!

Back then, that report took just 3 minutes to add to the sharing tool! Not bad for poor report and 3 minutes effort, ehh?

So the process I of creating quality content and spreading it does work extremely well. You just have to be committed to and focused on "quality". Nothing goes viral without quality.

Depends on the business you're in! Of course the first steps are: taking your product thinking if it's PMF thinking of who you're trying to sell it to. Then it goes down to establishing a great website, determining what's working on it and what's not (there are a ton of tools out there that can help- not sure if I can name them?), making sure you put fresh content that brings VALUE to your visitors (whom will later become customers if your funnel works correctly, studying the competition a bit (again there are tools here that you can use), making sure you grow an organic emailing list, making sure you get a good email marketing strategy in place, think of ssocial media as a means to deliver that valuable content to perhaps another audience. Think of SEO, Adwords, Ads on social. There's a lot of ground to cover. Do ask more if I made less sense to you than I intended.

 

From my experience, the most lucrative and sustainable business model online is really email marketing. It takes a lot of skill to list build and nurture your subscribers, but it is worth it.

i think that is always need web sites any way in my little experience and i made build email list used to because very useful to sell anything so offcourse need to good content,good promote and build valuable relationship(which is most important) all need to mix then achieves profit sell.I am not to know how about details web sites and i am not sure how to advice as you said very interested in email marketing.And so all you should know golden rules and makes better to start that if you get through it.So i hope you already now you have knew it that so plenty.

 

One of the things I always remember: be patient. It takes time for results to come. There are those who give up once they see that it isn't working for them. Things don't come easy really. It takes work. And promoting your site through every means possible takes work. Still, don't expect results to come at once. Give it time, and follow up if it's needed.

 

If your company website has lots of traffic, maybe you can make money with Google ads, and simply charge people to display ads on your company website.

Create web presence at long established, popular sites.
Enjoy traffic.
Monitor your promotions and sales.
