hi, i am still very new to joomla.. I wanna create a new website for my online store and have my own domain name. But presently i downloaded is the XAMP and local host joomla v1.5, and the url given is http://localhost/joomla15... Can i change this url to my domain name? (www.yoursite.com) if yes, how is it done? Can i change the default template? wanted to download a template from other website and upload to Joomla. From this website http://www.joomla24.com/ any comments about it?
you surely can change your url to your own choice.don't you use cpanel it will properly install joomla in the main directory you can also change your template as many times as you want.mail me if you haven't got my point i can do that for you free of charge
