I'm New to Javascript and about to learn it!

    Hello, I'm nearly up to Learning Javascript as the next part of my Home Study course im Studying, I have to go through my Workbook i have. I think im going to find it really hard to take in, so i may need some help from all you awesome people on here. I have no Clue what so ever about JavaScript. I know how long it took me to figure out how to learn Css, so i feel this is going to take me even longer >_<

    Ok, my recommendation would be to learn PLAIN javascript first, and once you're up to speed with making a few scripts with that, then take a look at a javascript framework such as jQuery.

    Don't learn the framework first though, else you'll be lacking an important foundation. As for where to start, its all down to how you prefer to learn. Buy a bunch of books and sit in bed with em, or hit the internet and run through some tutorials.
