Do you have any tips to promote and actually sell CB products? I've been trying to promote one CB product so far just to test some methods out.

So far I've been getting clicks but no sales. I'm averaging 1 click a day out of 30+ visitors to my site.

The product is set up as a review which I read converts better. I had one sale but it was returned =(..

So yeah any tips or advice that gets you CB sale would be a HUGE help!

    Thank you!!

Actually I did mean "hoops" as in the hoops from a three ringed circus.. Like the ones the dogs have to jump through to get the treat on the other side.. Just trying to paint a mental picture here ;]

I didn't mean "hops" I know what hops are.

LoL again uhmm... sorry my comment was so unclear (just trying to be polite).. Are we looking at the same comment?...

Oh ... I completely misunderstood your statement... I had no knowledge about what "hoops" are.

    Never bother... LoL.

By "1 click a day out of 30 visitors" what are you meaning?

Do you mean 1 buyer out of 30 visitors? Or anything else?

First let me know that, before I give any suggestion.

Generally review pages have a good conversion ratio, depends on the product/niche.

And what traffic generation method are you using?

I use a system that uses ClickBank Squeeze Pages with a linking email follow-up campaign.

    Here is how it work:

    1. Give a FREE GIFT (report, discount, video, ebook, etc) away on your squeeze page. Make sure the free gift contains your Clickbank ID (or Hoplink)
    2. Build a list of subscribers using the AWeber service
    3. Give your subscribers real value, so DO NOT spam them
    4. Send out autoresponder emails that contain the hoplink and other related Clickbank products
    5. Use a Thankyou Page and Download Page to upsell related products or OTO (One Time Offers)
    6. Link some follow-p emails to particular pages of your blog, i.e a review of the ClickBank product.
This method really works as you wil be gradually "building a relationship" with your subscribers and then over delivering on value by giving them as much information as possible.

Other people have mentioned that a Review of the product converts well and yes it does, but don't do things the same as everybody else. You need to be thinking "outside of the box" for your affiliate marketing to succeed in 2010.

    1. How long did it take you to start making money on Click Bank?
    30 days

    2. How many unique visitors a day did you have before you started making sales? Not that many at all. I would probably estimate 30 or hops...so visitors TOTAL... But then again I didin't even have a website I was promoting the affiliate like directly. And I wasn't promoting everyday.

    3. Do you have to be ranked #1 on the SE to make money or can just being on the first page in general like #5 or #9 etc. make you money.
Definately not... But you do have to get targeted traffic. You just have to know where and how to get it... and BTW I don't know anyone who goes past the 2nd or 3rd page...LOL

But if your using SEO, keep in mind that a MAJOR part of the search terms that are typed in are ones that have never been typed in before EVER...

So with some luck you may just pull in someone at the right time and place. But you'd be bette off with a system.

    4. Finally, any tips that you suggest that could help me succeed in AM?...

    Don't give up.
Too much of anything can be a bad thing (like free information).
Take action. Someone once said "if it's worth doing at all... do it now - even if it's not perfect." Or something like that... think it was Robert Allen - Multiple Streams of Internet Income
Keep testing as many products as you can as thoroughly as you can as quickly as you can.

    Hi,

I can't agree more. You have a very good point there. If affiliate have the money, then PPC is the right place to do.. try method of focussing your PPC campaign in the specific site (about your keyword/product) that appear hi rank in search engine result. By targeting your PPC campaign, you can take advantage of the traffic of that rank1 site.

    Thanks @ norhisham

That's correct. If your using the content network and they're using adsense ads... But sometimes I get a little paranoid. I've used the content network and found out that some sites were 'pay to click' sites, which means the buyers are motivated to click on your ads only because of profit sharing... So you have to be careful and make sure that the sites you advertise on are legit authority sites.

That's great really great info! You're definitely right on the "Don't give up" tip...

My goal is to make at least $100 so far I've made .60 on the adsense on my site lol but nothing from my affiliate links YET! (Positive thinking =)!)

So if you don't mind me asking how much a day or week do you make from your affiliate marketing?.. You don't have to answer if you don't want too.

Great!! advice idk though I don't think I'm getting enough traffic to start building a list yet. Last time I checked my traffic stats (2 days ago) I was only averaging 50 visitors a day...

Do you think that's going to be a factor in my sales as well and my sign-up rate for the email responder?

Yeah you're right AM is getting very competitive now-a-days and thinking outside the box is a definite MUST!

Well just a minute ago I checked my CB analytic (no sales...) and I had only 5 hops last week with 0 order form impression.

I get my traffic organically and from articles...

Quite irony though because your sig link is about traffic getting. hmm.. may be you need to write more and look into ways to use the article that you write as armor by submit the spin copy to a lot of article directory and to web 2.0 site in order to build a link wheel maybe. then submit the rss feed from those web 2.0 sites to feed aggregator. social bookmark all your page using onlywire for mass social bookmarking. etc etc etc and good luck, all the best.

If you have a few dollars put together a short guide with tips dealing with a particular clickbank product, then pay for a solo ad and have it sent a responsive list. Be sure to include your affilate in the guide. Make it short and sweet, yet informative. Leave them craving more info...from your product you're promoting of course. Best of luck!
