Im New to adwords -- A Little Help Please?

I just got into adwords a little over a month ago. I did it cause I had one of those $100 credits from Google so I figured what the hell, why not.

So far, its worked well. Im only targeting one keyword presently.

Any helpful hints? This is a new area to me. Ive heard of people using adwords to drive traffic to yahoo publisher enabled pages - and ive heard of people using adwords to drive traffic to an affilliate site as well.

Anyone wanna educate me a bit?

I recommend checking out Michael Cheney's site (Google it) and reading that to get the basics of how to get higher CTRs to reduce costs. From there on in, hang around in the AdWords forums for a while to get a grasp of things.

Play conservative with your initial $100 credit to get a feel for things and try to throw as much variation into it. Use the $100 as training. Whilst it's fairly small by most standards, it's great to learn uninhibited.

    Most of all, good luck!

Thanks Art - Im looking at Michael Cheney's blog now...

LOL - been throught that first hundred, and 2 hundred more - but have a pretty decent ROI so far (about 4:1) - so I want to expand into some other things and see if I can make the overall profit $$$ grow.
