I got adsense about 2 days ago and I've only made £5.68, My site gets at least 8000 - 10000 hits a day. I have 4 adsense ads on my site. Is there anything I need to change ?
Make sure you integrate the add close to where your client can click on it, check ebay for example. Good Luck
Do not use 4 ads in a page. It is violating the rules of Google Adsense Poilicies (only 3 ads) Do not click on the ads, they can trace your IP. Make a custom channel to sell your space in Adwords directly. It will increase your Page RPM. read mybloggertricks.com and problogger.net to increase your revenue.
8000 - 10000 a day and only £5.68?, I get around 8-10 Euro per day with 800-1000 UV per day on a game related site!
It depends on CPC cost of your niche. you can check the cpc of your niche in Google keyword planner. CPC of hosting, Search engine optimisation, law and insurance firm is the highest one.
Is no one clicking your AdSense ads?? How many click you got right now and for every click, how much are they paying you?
You need to improve placement of ads pal! Post a thread here and maybe you receive some great help https://forums.digitalpoint.com/forums/placement-reviews-examples.72/
Normally as a normal publisher no one can't place more than 3 ad units in a single page. If he placed the ad didn't show. I think he is using 3 ad units and another one may be a link ad.
you don't have bad revenue , £5.68 in 2 days ?! that's will be more than £150 per month now just focus on more traffic , & try to increase your CPC ( bossofmy.blogspot.com/2013/11/WhatfactorsaffectingGoogleAdSenseCPC.html )
Remove one of the ads, Google only allows 3 on any page at a time. Stick one at the top, one in the side, and one at the bottom. Someone said to change the colour of the ads, try get the background to match that of your site for the text ads. I like to use a graphical banner in one of the sidebars, and a text ad at the top. You can put whatever you like at the bottom.
With that amount of visits you should get a little bit more income. It really depends on your niche, CPC and CTR. Like point2 said, if the CTR is bellow 1% you might have a ad placement problem. The CTR target should be around 2-3%
