I'm new! I want to hear from you.

Hey everyone on Digital Point, I am new to the site and wanted to say hello. The first thing you've gotta do when you join a forum is introduce yourself! Not enough people do these days, huh? It's usually because their posts are always overlooked for other sections found in forums they join!

Surprise me! Let me know something about yourselves and let me see who on this site needs my immediate respect for looking out for new users!

My name is Brian and I am the owner/webmaster of EarnMoneyInsider.com (what do you think of it?), a blog where I quite literally plunge myself into "make money" sites and do case studies/reviews about them. I have come to the Digital Point Forums after a recommendation on another blog I was reading. I have put off joining this site for ages, but I have recently been told that for any questions one may have about running websites, from webmastering to marketing, Digital Point is the first place I should go for the help I am seeking.

That said, I am not entirely new to this stuff, and I have done a tremendous amount of research on my own over the past few years. I am confident in the people here to help in supplementing my own knowledge, and I am also confident in myself that I can bring value to the site as well by sharing what I do know.

I hope to come back to some posts with more that "welcome" in the body! I'd like to get to know anyone who thinks enough of me to respond; you're taking the time to participate in this thread "all about me", I want to take the time and make it a little bit about you, as well. Let me know what you're into, what your passions are, what your strengths are online, and maybe a little bit about Digital Point Forums.

I am a writer. I do it. I don't yet really know how good at it I am, but I think I am pretty high level. Sometimes I think that my writing will scare Google off from giving my site love because they expect 4th grade level stuff, and I am a bit of a long-breather (as you've probably made out from the length of this introduction!).

At the time of writing this intro post, I am awaiting the landfall of Hurricane Sandy. It sucks, big time. Hurricane Sandy is supposed to be hardest hitting on the coast at about 8pm, and hardest on my location by about 10 or 11pm. Times are EST, I'm in northeast USA. Wish us luck up here, it's not looking good!
