I just spent the last few hours (on/off) making bread. Ive just gone downstairs and kneaded them for the second time (you let them rise them beat them again). In an hour I will be putting them in the oven. They are supposed to go in bread tins but i don't have any (student) so ive made the dough into four sticks and they are going to be french sticks. I'll let you know how I get on. i might even post pictures if they are successful. Im quite proud of my bread making abilities so far...to be continued....
Quick update. I didnt have any bread tins so I made french baguettes. Tasted quite nice but a bit bland. I have been informed that this is because I did not use enough salt in my dough. Anyway was a good first effort. Will post pictures at some point (maybe).
