I used to shared hosting. I bought a VPS
So I log into with http://MY_IP:2083

and I'm presented with this WHM control panel and I am lost.
I have 1 IP address and the apache , php and stuff is already installed.

What do I do to get the websites set up on it?

go to ur web host manager,
in that, click add new account.

fill in the detials like domain name, pass etc.
then apache will give u final completion page with all details about the domain.

use the name servers it provides u and fill them into ur domain nameserver which is in ur domain registrars control panel.
then log into ftp account by using the login details u entered while creating the account.
once u logged in, upload ur site files into /public_html/ or /htdocs/ whichever u see.

    u are online dude!

Thanks for your reply, But I got it all done and working now.
In case someone comes across this looking for the same help this is the basics what you do.
go to http://demowolf.com/dns-tutorials-private.htm and learn to create your nameserver with a domain you own at your registrar. Wait about 10 -48 hours for the dns to propagate.

Then go to click add new account in your WHM Cpanel and and make the nameserver for this account the ones you just made then click create. and your online.
Then log into that account with your Hostname. You need to put a Hostname under Basic cPanel/WHM Setup under host. Something like ftp.yourdomain.com then in Networking Setup under hosts change your host to ftp.yourdomain.com.
Then use this to log into the account via ftp.
