i'm looking to build or have built a site similar to www.mtbr.com, can anyone tell me roughly how much it would be to have a similar site built?
Start with a good layout then fill in the pieces. The link you showed was a 3 column layout with a header (full width) and footer (full width). It also has a horizontal drop down menu. There are plenty of examples of how to do these things on the web. I don't think you'll find volunteers to do this much complexity for free. Start here it's free.
