I have a links, articles directory pc-factor.com I haven't considered this idea before, don't know why, that is if it's a good one But what I am thinking is offering other sites anything from free featured links, to a text-link on my front page be it above or below the fold that actually appears on nearly every page of the site. It's totally indexed by Google and all the others....google's last index was 24135+82. So not only do they get the exposure to my sites visitors but a large amount of back link and search engine exposure if it's the text link through out the site, in exchange for them giving me equal exposure on their web sites or posting about me in blogs etc? So the question is, is this really something that is worth my efforts doing, or is my efforts better spent at more conventional marketing techniques? Would it pose any possible harm to my site doing something along these lines? TIA for any advice or other suggestions you might have
Unfortunately I have Alzheimers and tend to forget a lot the little things I either once knew and practiced or have come across hence why I post questions like this in forums. It could still conventionally work though offering featured links in the category that matches their sites topic. And offering a limited number of text links on the site wide area. If the site wide links were made no-follow links and depended strictly on the traffic my site generates then it wouldn't be seen as bad either I suppose.
You are offering link exchange? Are your links followed or not? If yes, I'd suggest you to build a 3ways link exchange. Cheers Lucio
