Nothing has been put into motion yet, everything still has room for change. I've done A LOT of research on my niche, and this is what I've come up with.

My company will be selling aftermarket automotive parts, performance parts, etc.

Well, first off, let's start off with the sites structure (Turnkey solution I'm using, etc)

    - I will be using the turnkey platform, Shopping Cart Elite. (Here is a site that uses them: http://www.300zxtuner.com/ ) Give me your thoughts on the platform. Shopping Cart Elites official site is: www.shoppingcartelite.com

    - The company will also have a blog. For many reasons.

    - I have multiple wholesale dropshipping suppliers that I am already registered with and ready to go.

    - All the IRS business registration has already been completed.

Alright, next I'll talk about my plan for marketing and gaining expsure.

    - I have written automotive related articles (Not distributed yet) that talk about multiple automotive subjects that are searched as much as 20,000 times monthly, but have little or no information. These articles will include a link to my company's site.

    - With each purchase from my company, I plan to send a letter with a thank you for purchasing letter, along with a complimentary company bumper sticker. This will help gain large amounts of return traffic, and also spread my company's name offline.

    - I plan to do a large amount of SEO, link exchanged, directory submission, thorough on-page optimization, etc. I also have various SEO programs that will help out, including SEO Elite. I have A LOT of experience with SEO.

    - Many people in my community and in areas around my community (at least 300 miles in radius) are car enthusiasts. I plan to have shirts made and sold both offline and online.

    - Once the company grows and a steady profit is generated, I plan to submit the site to well known directories like yahoo (which is definantly worth the yearly fee) etc.

    - Just for a cushioning, I have 6 months worth of website costs in the bank, in-case no sales are generated within the first couple of months. (I don't believe this cushion will be needed, but It's always good to have some kind of backup)

    --------------------

Well tell me what you think. Anything I should add? Criticism? Suggestions? Etc.

I think you have a good plan to start with - its just a matter of implementing it. I think that you would be best off starting with the low cost of free methods of promotion, than gradually move to the more expensive things - you can save a lot of money that way, especially if things get rolling slowly.
