    I'm looking for a web host. I need a host that supports PHP and mod-rewrite. I also need a 301 redirect from http://thisdomain.com to http://www.thisdomain.com as well. Lets me have 2 mysql databases as well. Ftp access of course too. I usually use netfronts, but they don't support rewrite nor that particular 301 :). Anyone host here or can point me to someone who can offer me that?

    I love Powweb and recommend them highly. $7 a month, all that you ask for and a lot more. Way more bandwidth and space than you'll ever figure out how to use.

    I just changed to www.asmallorange.com

    I have to tell you - they have been fantastic. I was with a big host before, and this little guy gives me 100% better service and I noticed my site became much faster as well.

    Yeah - 24 hour support that is very fast - But like I said, it was the unlimited free add on domains and mysql dbs that cinched it for me. Plus their servers are dual xeons - screaming fast.

    Oh well. I just went to check it out and here it was they say now:

    Try looking at www.findmywebhost.org there's accounts on there for as low as $5.00 a month that meet your criteria. Also they have many other accounts for you to check out.
