The title says it all. I need a UK based Finance/Investment writer for a blog about retirement investing. PM me some info about your experience and your rates. Thanks
So far I got answers from every single country EXCEPT the UK. Please people I really need UK writers for this project. Your message will simply be deleted if you're from somewhere else.
Whats with the UK tag? Isn't India good enough for you? Give me a try, I don't take payments for unsatisfactory work.
Are you from the UK and living in India? Just because you may be able to read British English, doesn't necessarily mean you would be able to comprehend and write in British English at the level that someone native to the UK would. If the target audience is UK based, it is best to hire a writer who is either from the UK, educated in the UK or has the skill set equal to or better than a person native to the UK. Some people also request that a person be from a specific geographic location due to the project budget, preferred means in which payment is made, time zone, etc.
@GodsOwnWriter, don't take it so personally. It has NOTHING to do with natives or non-natives. Even if you write better than a native of UK, this project must be one that requires writers specifically living there. For sure you can write in perfect British English about the finance and investment scenarios in UK ….. that's NOT the issue. But writing just by researching some facts and information through the internet is way different from doing so while actually residing there. The OP's target audience seems to be something that ONLY a person living in UK can understand BEST.
Thanks all for understanding. This is for technical articles that involve SIPP and SSAS plans. If you're not from the UK, this probably sounds like Chinese to you, but if you're in the UK, you immediately know that these are retirement plans.
I have someone who is looking for work in freelance. She did some work for me in the past, but alas I dont have any work for her. Not a finance writer per se, but smart enough to understand SIPP/SSAS, etc; her husband plans to buy a house cash, so they good with money LOL
