I'm looking for a internet lawyer to assist me, with a few issues im having online.
I sold a website & now customer is complaining that there is no revenue.
I provided proof that there was revenue. When i sold the business i removed all the paid marketing. And he was
aware of that. I even helped him out for 1 entire month & he signed my legal document, it states everything nice and clear.
i also stated it was a start up site & it could use some work but when i had it i made money with my own techniques.
Hes expecting the site to make up to 5k a month ... and he isnt putting in anytime or effort
Now hes complaining & he seems to be heading the legal route.

If possible if there are internet lawyer pm me,
or if you know of any let me know.

    Thanks!

An "internet lawyer" works best if s/he is in the same country or jurisdiction as yours. A
thing you can do is search in Google for "city lawyer" or "state lawyer" or similar, where
the city or state is where you're in.

Then work your way through the results until you find one. Good luck.

If you signed a legal document, then what is there to worry about?
You sold him the website as is, he bought it.

How much did you sell the site for? What is he wanting, the reversal of the sale?

As you would be defending an action rather than pursuing someone I would be tempted to sit back and see if they do litigate unless the sale of the site was reasonable bucks (I dont know USA court limits but in the UK it would have to be over $10,000). It isnt really worth spending $500 to get a lawyer to review the details if the sum involved is only $1,000 and they may not even pursue it anyway.

It sounds basic contract law and so unless there is something complex in technology that is in dispute then a normal lawyer should be fine.

I doubt he will go the legal route. Business = risk...and it will cost him money to even start anything, and
If I was you, then I surely would not pay money for an atty unless I had too, you should not hire a lawyer,
and let him make the first move, otherwise you would be wasting money if he is just blowing smoke.

If i got paid everytime I heard "im going to sue"

hell, i would be rich right now...

its easy to say I am going to sue, but lawyers just do not jump on everyone that says that,
they would indeed be very poor lawyers if they jumped on every "Im suing" statement....

The park that i lived in committed fraud when I moved in, and it was very clear!
3 lawyers said so-what, take a hike! I had a very legit reason, and proof to sue
this mobile home park, but not one atty thought it was worth their time, and I
even called the state, and they pretty much did not care either....

    Don't worry about that.Lawyer cost $300-$500/hour.
Do you think he or she will invest more money in to this.
    I seriously doubt this.

and since this is not an body injury case, then he will not take this case at $0 cost up front, and
if the atty has any doubt, then he may not take the case at all, even if the client is willing to pay.

So unless we know exactly what is on this contract, then everything else will be considered hear-say....
"I said this" "he said that" ... so depending on what is in the contract he signed...if he signed off
as accepting all business risks, and no gurantees, then he would not have much to stand on....

Thanks for all the advice and tips.

i notice that regardless to how good your policy is,... if the transaction was made through papal people still manage to override them by opening a dispute with paypal.

but as far as my issue i got a good e-lawyer really honest guy willing to help me 100% with any feature threats.
